In July 2025, graduates of the Shinohara Seminar returned to SFC for the first time in a while!
At the Shinohara Seminar, we hold the Alumni Meeting during the spring semester. This event is an important tradition that deepens bonds across generations.
The Meeting kicked off with something special — cooking!
As a community, all current seminar members worked together in the kitchen. The menu was as diverse as our members themselves, with dishes reflecting their individual personalities and regional backgrounds.

In the afternoon, we moved into the introduction and interaction time.
Current students and alumni enjoyed the food together and bonded through group games, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout the event.
During the alumni self-introductions, they shared how they apply theories from public administration in their current careers, as well as the issues they face in the field. These stories offered us valuable new perspectives on public administration.
Going forward, we hope to continue nurturing this Alumni Meeting as a space where connections thrive across generations.
We're already looking forward to the next time we meet!
